Seed to Vase is taught through the UK growing season, but the principles we teach are universal.
We regularly welcome students from the US and other countries, and throughout the course we explain why we do things at certain times — so you can confidently adjust sowing, planting, and harvesting to suit your own climate.
To support this, we include a dedicated tutorial on adapting the UK growing calendar to different climates, including guidance for common US growing zones.
All live sessions are recorded, so time zones are never a barrier.
Yes, and each year we have students from overseas join Seed to Vase. We love to welcome students from all over the world and it’s fascinating to see how your cutting patch develops slightly differently from those in the UK. Our live sessions are generally scheduled at 8pm GMT/12noon PST/9pm CET but are always recorded and available to watch back. Lots of our overseas students love to grow an 'English Cottage Garden'!
Sadly, due to bio-security restrictions, we are not able to send the seed packs outside England, Scotland and Wales, but you can still follow along in the sow-a-long.
